Almost

Peterboo and Prescott
And pretty Pam, too,
Are very many children
But they know what to do.

They eat all their cereal
And crusts of their bread,
They never need spankings,
They go quietly to bed.

They hang up their clothes,
They practice when they should,
And their manners are always
Exceptionally good.

This little poem
Is about Peterboo
And Pamela and Prescott—
And it’s almost true.
