Chasing a caravan all across town
Why is it going so fast?
Hey little caravan won’t you slow down?
I’ve tried so hard to get past.

Ca-ra-van
Where are you headed for?
Ca-ra-van
Have you been there before?

Follow that caravan where ‘ere it goes
Don’t let it out of your sight
Where is it going to? Nobody knows
Follow it all through the night

Ca-ra-van
Where are you going to?
Car-a-van
I want to go there too!

Ca-ra-van
Going right down to the sea
Ca-ra-van
Will you get there before me?
