Two legendary dragons,
both of countrywide renown,
encountered one another,
neither dragon would back down.
They glared with pure malevolence,
for neither could disguise
it despised its mighty rival—
fury filled their fiery eyes.



Their flared their giant nostrils,
they displayed their razor claws.
They roared with wild abandon,
and they snapped their fearsome jaws.
It was woefully apparent
they would always disagree
which possessed the greater prowess,
might, and sheer ferocity.

They snorted in defiance
as they called each other names,
and soon they were exhaling
inextinguishable flames.
The heat was overwhelming,
both ignited with a flash,
and those legendary dragons
were reduced to piles of ash.
